Synopsis
Doctor Dalton's weapons upgrades appear to be a success, as Computron thrashes Abominus with ease. Galvatron is not done yet, however, and orders Abominus to separate into his component Terrorcons. The Terrorcons then fire streams of "Cohesive Control Liquid", a gooey substance which immobilizes Computron. Computron fights it, only to have his motor and mental functions overridden by the Control Liquid. Against his will, Computron marches over to the side of the Decepticons, where the Terrorcons gleefully announce that they will make him one of them.
Rodimus Prime turns to Dalton for answers, leading Dalton to unveil his new powered-up exosuit. According to Dalton, only humans are immune to the Control Liquid, so a human will have to go burn it off of Computron. Daniel offers to go, only to be told to stay put by Spike. Grimlock remarks that Daniel is still just a kid and laughs at him.
Flying into battle, Spike dodges fire from both the Terrorcons and Computron. Blasting Computron with "defense spray", he successfully burns off the Control Liquid and frees Computron. Swearing revenge, Computron pummels the crap out of the Terrorcons.
As the Autobots celebrate yet another victory, Galvatron states that he already has another insidious scheme planned out; one that they'll never forget.

Notes
- This issue takes place after "Grimlock's New Brain" but before "The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1". Since the next issue takes place after "The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 2" and not directly after this adventure, whether Galvatron's "unforgettable" new scheme was the one from next issue or any of his other schemes in between is uncertain.
- The first issue claimed that the Technobots were "about to be born", implying they were new creations. Seemingly to keep The Great Transformer War from contradicting the origins of the Technobots as seen in "Grimlock's New Brain", this issue provides a retcon claiming that the Technobots were only upgraded by Doctor Dalton. The rather random presence of Grimlock would also seem to be a measure taken to solidify connections with the cartoon.
- After fifteen issues, this issue marks the first manga appearance by Spike, Daniel and even Grimlock.
- The Cohesive Control Liquid would appear to be the upgrade that Dalton was forced to build into the Terrorcons during his time as a Decepticon prisoner. This would explain why he knows so much about it and already has a remedy ready for it.
