Terrorcon (Earth Wars)

The Terrorcons are a Decepticon subgroup from the Earth Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Terrorcons were initially just a nameless team placed under the command of Armada Megatron to investigate the appearance of a mysterious space station, but eventually broke away from the pack to steal its technology for themselves and overthrow their higher-ups. Over time, they grew into a large splinter faction fighting over the Artifacts of the Primes, co-led by Armada Megatron and his Predacon counterpart.

They are comprised of:

Armada Wheeljack explained the story of the Entity to them: it had come from interdimensional space, and destroyed the airborne part of the Cyber-City fortress. Once he was finished, the team set to work locating the other locating the other fragments of the space station so they could raid it for weaponry. Wheeljack spoke privately with Armada Megatron about "the edge," a last line of defense against the Entity that the Autobot/Decepticon alliance never got to test because it struck first. Breakdown Prime interrupted their conversation to inform them of a lead in Santa Cruz de Cana, Panama. Before they left, Tigerchest suggested they come up with a team name. Gatorface proposed they be know as the Outsiders, while Roller Force suggested the Mavericks. Megatron rejected both choices and dubbed them the Terrorcons, as, with the Cyber-City weapons, they would strike fear into the hearts of their enemies. With that, they entered the GroundBridge and departed for Panama. The Edge

While the other members of the team searched the forest for the cloaked fragment, Megatron and Wheeljack had another private discussion, this time about a specific, incredibly-powerful weapon within its walls: the Skyboom, which they sought to take for themselves, as they felt the others were unworthy of such power. Crankcase approached the pair, asking if they had any ideas on how to narrow down the search, which wasn't going anywhere. Moments later, Breakdown arrived and told them that Deluge had quite literally driven into the invisible fortress. Megatron ordered them to pair up with C.O.M.B.A.T. Bots and form a perimeter while he and Wheeljack went in to look around, but his subordinates protested, as they didn't trust him.
