During the Great War, Tarantulas was part of a Decepticon force dispatched to the Hydrax Plateau. The battle was fierce, with Tarantulas taking out Slamdance by slicing him in two. However, Tarantulas, like (almost) everyone else involved in the battle, ultimately fell to the uncontrolled spread of Oil Slick's Cosmic Rust. Bots of Science
