You maniacs! You blew it up! You blew it all up!

Once a peaceful organic world, the planet Skalorr was once home to two competing civilizations: one insular and industrious, the other violent and warlike. All that changed when the planet's sun went nova, bathing the entire planet with deadly radiation. The bleak, post-apocalyptic landscape that remains is haunted by grotesque mutants and Rock Lords, who stalk the shattered ruins of bygone cities. What little plant life remains grows in deep valleys and hidden caves.

Yet civilization, in some form, remains - for both species had gone into hibernation before the devastating solar flares hit their world. With their essences transferred into robotic bodies, the heroic Protectons and evil Terrakors wage a war for the future of their planet. They're the Robotix!

Strange as it may seem, Skalorr is actually a distant dimensional counterpart of Cybertron and Gobotron!

Fiction

The AllSpark Almanac

The Cybertron of Primax 698.20 Theta was known as Skalorr before the Quintessons eco-structured the planet.

Another Skalorr was found in Xobitor 1085.06 Alpha. It was not fully mechaformed and was home to the warring Protectons and the Terrakors. The AllSpark Almanac II

A typical resident of Skalorr.

The Daniel Boone crashed on Skalorr shortly before the Robotix emerged from their hibernation. When the Protectons and Terrakors resumed their conflict, the crew of the ship split: some of them chose to join the Protectons, while others allied with the Terrakors.

After travelling through a black hole, Spacewarp emerged in another universe. When she returned to where Cybertron should have been, she found herself orbiting Skalorr instead. She was intercepted by Nemesis's group of Terrakors and their human allies, who brought her back to the planet's surface. As a Decepticon, she found a certain kinship with the villainous cyborgs. Unfortunatley for her, she was double-crossed by Nemesis and wound up on the dissection table. She was saved by the Protectons, who brought her back to the ruined city of Zanador. Before she was able to leave, however, the Compu-Core—the pre-catastrophe artifact capable of creating more Robotix—malfunctioned.

Unable to live with two species dying on her watch, Spacewarp reluctantly pledged to help the Protectons repair the Compu-Core. The Protecton-Decepticon alliance came into conflict with the Terrakors and a group of mutants along the way, but ultimately succeeded in their quest. With the Compu-Core back in Protecton hands and ready to create more heroic Robotix, Spacewarp bid the Protectons farewell, and wished them well in their fight to liberate the city of Terracoria and vanquish the Terrakors.
