Phreaker

Phreaker is an Autobot from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

It's the Phreak Phone, and here's the party phreak!

A Transformer who fled Cybertron to avoid its certain destruction, Phreaker eventually took the form of a pay phone along a stretch of lonely desert highway. Fortunately, he had a buddy named Signal Lancer who lives across the road.

Phreaker was originally sited on a ridge overlooking corn fields. He witnessed Thundercracker attacking Joyride and promptly contacted the Autobots to assist her. Search At some point he moved into a city and was located on the sidewalk near Signal Lancer. When Starscream's forces began searching the planet, the pair noted that things were getting bad, and Phreaker wondered where Optimus Prime was when you needed him. Invasion

When Megatron returned to Earth, searching for the traitor Starscream, Phreaker locked a stasis beam onto Megatron's warp-gate from the fire dimension, stalling the Decepticons' entry long enough to evacuate the nearby humans at Niagara Falls. Revelation

Following the defeat of Galvatron, Phreaker was hanging out in the desert with Signal Lancer when the latter announced he was going to go and find his destiny among the stars. As Signal Lancer ran off, Phreaker wished him luck. Beginning

• Phreaker was not named in his original appearances. He received a name many years later via the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime.
• The term "Phreaker" is both slang and a portmanteau of the words "phone" and "freak", referring to people that hack into telecommunication systems.
