Liquid nitrogen rifle

The Autobot Skids is armed with a liquid nitrogen rifle that shoots a jet of liquid nitrogen up to 600ft, freezing its targets. Meanwhile Ironhide's "water gun" can fire any number of liquids—from supercooled liquid nitrogen to superheated liquid lead—up to 1,000ft.

Seems like Skids got kinda stiffed there.

In Autobot mode, Skids carried a liquid nitrogen rifle that fired a stream of the supercooled element up to 600ft away. Skids's Universe profile

During an altercation at a Brick Springstern concert at the Municipal Stadium, Skids took out one of Thundercracker's drone rockets with a blast of liquid nitrogen. Rock and Roll-Out!

Later, while battling Ravage in an old abandoned mining town, Skids used his supercooled liquid nitrogen to counter Ravage's fire-breath. Showdown!

Earthforce

Operating jointly with Grimlock's Earthforce, Skids and the Survivors protected an oil tanker from Starscream in the Gulf of Mexico. Skids used a flying leap by Carnivac as a distraction to freeze Starscream with his liquid nitrogen rifle, and then Inferno knocked the Decepticon commander into the drink. Divide and Conquer!

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

In robot mode, Skids carried a liquid nitrogen rifle with a 600-foot range. Skids's More than Meets the Eye profile

The Transformers Skids came with a chromed sliver weapon, identified in his instructions and packaging bio as a liquid nitrogen rifle.

This mold was reissued many times. It is itself a retool of an earlier Diaclone mold which was used to make Crosscut and Screech.

Generations

Generations Thrilling 30 "Autobot Skids" came with a new version of his liquid nitrogen rifle and a new weapon based on the nudge gun Skids carried in IDW's More than Meets the Eye comic, the two of which can combine into a larger rifle. Both weapons can peg onto his hands or vehicle sides via 5 mm post.

Skids was redecoed into Age of Extinction Rollbar and Timelines/Diaclone Burn Out, which was later repurposed as Shattered Glass Skids. It was also extensively redecoed and released in the Japanese Legends toyline. This mold was also retooled into Generations Crosscut.

Masterpiece

This mold was also used to make Reboost and Crosscut.

Legacy Autobot Skids came with his liquid nitrogen rifle and twin electron blaster, as well as a translucent-blue Energon rifle that doubles as an axe. The three weapons can combine to form a super weapon.
