Notes
- Depth Charge replaces Runamuck as this year's "Where It's At..." mascot.
- Images used in the recap include panels and illustrations from: "Crossing Over, Part 1", "Games of Deception", "Cheap Shots", "At Fight's End", and "Invasion".
- It's noted here that the Terminus Blade was in Scourge's Vaults of the Unknown, before being stolen by Ultra Magnus' forces, a detail that will eventually come up again.
- Characters mentioned in Optimus Prime's bio include: Electro, Volt, Junpei, Megatron, and the Convoy.
- Prime was seen as a member of a group of Optimus Primes from across the dimensions in "Invasion Prologue", named here as the Convoy, after the Japanese name for Optimus. He was one of the Primes who recruited Depth Charge in "Invasion: Epilogue", setting up this year's "Beast Wars Shattered Glass" storyline. It's noted that he's taken the moniker "Hero Prime" to avoid confusion, obviously due to him being the Generation 2 Hero version of the character.
- Optimus Prime's home universal stream, Primax 895.0 Gamma, is the world of the Comic BomBom G-2 manga, "The New Battle!!" Several parts of that story are referenced, including the energy source forestonite, Autobot human ally Junpei, and Prime's Double Wheel-Torq Mega-Ton attack.
- Characters mentioned in Depth Charge's bio include: Protoform X, Blackarachnia, Nightscream, Scavenger, Immorticon, a Maximal commander, Alpha Trion, and Topspin.
- Depth Charge hails from Primax 209.0 Gamma, the world originally described in Blackarachnia's profile back in issue #25. The dead Maximal commander mentioned here is Optimus Primal, who Blackarachnia and the others killed when he refused to betray his superiors. Blackarachnia and the others were seen serving under Alpha Trion in the "Transcendent" storyline.
- Depth Charge had previously been assigned to hunt down Protoform X, mimicking the rivalry between the two in the original Beast Wars cartoon.
- Depth Charge tracked down Blackarachnia and her fellow rebels to their last known location in Cybertropolis, a city introduced in Beast Machines.
Errors
- There's an extra "I" at the start of page 15's entry in the contents listing.
- In "The Transformers Menagerie," there's an unnecessary comma after "rhinoceros" and "prove" needs to be past tense.
