Geoff Senior self-portrait

Geoff Senior (born 1960) is an artist who worked on both the original Marvel UK and US Transformers comic books and was made secondary artist for Marvel Comics' Generation 2 comics, starting with issue #10, after Derek Yaniger failed to meet deadlines. His first strip work was in UK issue #42. At one point, he lived in Carlisle, England.

He studied at the Cumbria School of Art and Design but had no idea of what to do after. Luckily for us, one of his teachers introduced him to his neighbour Steve Parkhouse and that got him into comics.[1]

He is like unto a living god.

Sadly, he has largely departed comics, and now works in the advertising field producing storyboards.

In July of 2007 he returned to Transformers with #1 of a new series, providing the art for a Transformers movie prelude. He expressed bemusement that because the CGI model sheets he was given only show the front, he had no idea what the back of the characters looked like and couldn't make out their faces.[2] He would return every so often afterwards for convention comics, the odd page, and various covers. Long may this continue!
