Notes
- The "Quintesson origin" depicted in "Five Faces of Darkness" originates in Dille's rejected Transformers movie script, entitled The Secret of Cybertron.
- Although The Secret of Cybertron was rejected, a number of concepts from it made their way into the finished film, resulting in Dille's prominent story consultant credit.
- Dille recalls a scene in a script he edited in which the Autobots survived death by means of Hound's holograms. Thinking it a bit of a cheat, he intended to replace the idea with something else, and added the joking placeholder line "Thank heavens for that bogus plot device or we'd be finished" into the script in the meantime. He wound up forgetting to revise the script, and the placeholder line was almost included in the episode, until it was caught during recording! This particular plot point occurred in both "Fire in the Sky" and "The Insecticon Syndrome"; given the time period in which Dille was involved in the show, the instance he encountered was probably the latter.
- Dille once bailed Chris Latta out of jail. When questioned, Latta claimed to have been arrested for jaywalking.
- Regardless, Dille's favorite Transformer is Starscream.
- Dille appeared on an interview as a special feature for Kid Rhino's The Transformers Season 2 Part 2 DVD set.
- Dille's grandfather founded John F. Dille Co., a newspaper syndication business which originally published Buck Rogers, an IP that Flint himself is now a partial owner of.
