- Dragon Beast is a Autobot combiner from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Dragon Beast is the wild, untamed combined form of the Anibots. The Autobots seldom allow it to form, as it is nearly as apt to turn on them as it is to attack the Decepticons. It is made up of:
- Simba (leader)
- Clump
- Pardo
- Shriek
- Thump

- Dragon Beast features in early drafts of The Transformers: The Movie. The Anibots merge to form the giant, lightning-breathing "mechano-beast" known as Dragon Beast. It would have engaged Devastator, causing as much damage to the city around them as to one another, until the arrival of the Dinobots occupied Devastator's attention. Dragon Beast would have then taken advantage of the opportunity to smash Dirge and Ramjet.
- Concept art was created by Floro Dery of at least their combined mode,[1] referred to only with the descriptor used in the original script, the "Mechano-Beast".[2] The second version is shown at the head of the article as a dragon. The notes on the right state that the first version has an exoskeleton and itself transforms to an "alien spaceship", while a third version exists as a five-headed hydra. While these have never surfaced Dery would later rework the design of the first version for the cartoon Megas XLR. [3]
