David Patrick Crane (born 1954) is a video game designer and programmer. He briefly worked as a programmer at Atari before co-founding Activision in 1979. Notable games designed by Crane at Activision include Pitfall!, Ghostbusters, and Little Computer People. Crane would eventually leave Activision in 1987 to work at Hasbro on development of their unreleased "Project NEMO" FMV game system before joining Absolute Entertainment the following year, creating titles such as A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia and David Crane's Amazing Tennis. Crane still works in the video game industry today in a reduced capacity.
