The night before the climactic battle with the Quintessons, Beta found that A-3 and his Coder Remote had gone missing. With the remote's ability to override the Dark Guardians necessary for a victory, Beta went searching for her missing counterpart. Though he was nowhere to be found she did stumble across a group of strange and powerful robots that improbably also wore the slave brand.
After rescuing them from a Dark Guardian, Beta secured their help in the revolt. The strange robots did their part until A-3 returned, much to Beta's bear-hugging joy, and saved the day. Beta's fate after this is unknown. Forever Is a Long Time Coming

Energon Universe
Beta was born during the Quintessons' rule over Cybertron. Alongside A-3, she became a leader in the rebellion earning the title of Trion with her partner and becoming known as "Zerta Trion". Though the Cybertronians succeeded in driving the invaders from their world, the Quintessons retaliated by sending Goliant to destroy Cybertron. To save her world, Zerta drew the giant to a distant star system and manipulated him into feasting on a red star on the verge of becoming a black hole. Knowing the star's consumption would only empower Goliant, Zerta influenced the planets Agorria and Zertonia into building the Sacred Ring around the black hole, trapping Goliant and dividing his essence, intending to kill him when he was at his weakest. Though Zerta intended to use the Ring to generate energon for her homeworld, she was damaged by Goliant and unable to return home. Continuing to influence the organics who lived on the Sacred Ring, Zerta's influence resonated with the Zertonians who came to deify her. Void Rivals #17
On Cybertron, Zerta Trion became a legendary figure. During the Great War, Springer left Cybertron to seek her out. After he'd found the Sacred Ring and allied with Darak and Solila, Springer poured some energon into the latter's mind eye, causing her to experience a vision of Zerta's voice calling on Solila to find her. Springer then briefly told the two of Zerta Trion before more Zertonian military forces arrived. Void Rivals #10 Solila subsequently opted to descend within the Ring and find Zerta Trion. Void Rivals #12
After getting directions from Vector Theta, Void Rivals #16 Solila found Zerta and roused her from stasis. After Zerta explained her past, she promised to give Solila the power needed to finish her task and end Goliant. Void Rivals #17 Too damaged to complete the last part of her plan, Zerta commanded Vector Theta to give Solila the power needed to unite her people. Void Rivals #18
When Unity began, Solila lost her nerve in light of the quakes Goliant's emergence caused. As the Zertonians retreated, a furious Zerta summoned Solila back to her, telling the girl that she had doomed life as they knew it. Void Rivals #23 Unable to convince Solila that the Sacred Ring would have survived Goliant's emergence, Zerta banished her and stripped her of new powers while fearing all was lost. Void Rivals #24
Notes
