Beast Wars Reborn (ビーストウォーズリボーン) was a (very small) Japanese Transformers franchise from 2006 consisting of a prose series, a "Golden Disk" collection of concept art, and a single box set. The only toys released for Beast Wars Reborn were retools of the original Ultra toys of Optimus Primal and Megatron.

Fiction
A 4-part text story set after the events of Beast Wars Returns, printed in Figure Ō magazine from March to June, 2006 (issues #97-100), provided a storyline revolving around the retooled Optimus Primal and Megatron figures. Following their deaths at the conclusion of that cartoon, the two leaders are resurrected in the "Unicron Trilogy" universe by the mysterious Soundblaster, who pits them against one another in order to find an heir to his powers over space and time. The story and artwork were provided by Hirofumi Ichikawa.

- For the 10th Anniversary of Beast Wars, Takara retooled the original 1996 Ultra-sized toys. The Optimus Primal toy had new beast and robot heads, plus a new robot chest piece sculpted to match the television series's portrayal. The color scheme was also altered to be show-accurate, changing the black to dark gray, much of the light gray to medium gray with hints of bronze, primary red to crimson, and blue to a more dull steel blue. All of the toy's previous gimmicks were retained with the sole exception of the "mutant head." The Megatron toy was given a new head sculpt and a new paint scheme based upon the appearance of the CGI model used in the Beast Wars television series.
- The two-pack included a Golden Disk-styled CD-ROM that contains control art for a number of Beast Wars toys.
