To enable the splendorous Sky Lynx to shoot magnificent plumes of fire from the mouth of his glorious dinobird mode, he incorporates an awe-inspiring acetylene blaster into his admirable infrastructure.

In dinobird mode, Sky Lynx could fire an acetylene blaster from his mouth, with a range of three miles. He could also fire it from his nosecone in shuttle mode. Sky Lynx's More than Meets the Eye profile

The Transformers

• Sky Lynx (Motorized Space Shuttle, 1986)

Transformers Sky Lynx featured a weapon attached to the top of the inside of his dinobird mode's mouth (with barely enough room for any shot to clear his upper teeth) that was identified as an acetylene blaster in his packaging bio.

This toy was reissued as part of the Encore line in 2008.

Notes

• Sky Lynx's Marvel Universe profile states that in dinobird mode he can "shoot a stream of fire from his mouth and hit a target up to 3 miles away", however it does not mention the source of the fire being an acetylene blaster.
