Byte-Sized Brief
Samsung now offers its web browser on PCs.
Bookmarks, history, and passwords sync across devices.
Includes AI tools for summaries and translation.
The long-running browser wars have mostly centered on big names like Chrome and Firefox, but Samsung is joining the fight on desktop. The company just launched a beta version of its Samsung Internet web browser for Windows, giving Galaxy users a way to keep their browsing experience connected across their phone and computer. Like most browsers, bookmarks, history, and saved passwords are synced across devices so that everything you need follows you wherever you use the app.
Samsung Internet also pulls in some Galaxy AI features. When logged in to a Samsung Account, users can access web page summaries or quick translations without leaving the page. Privacy is central to the browser, too: anti-tracking blocks third-party data collection, and a dashboard shows exactly what's being protected. Samsung Internet for PC runs on Windows 11 and Windows 10, and is available in the US and Korea now, with more countries coming later.
The Bottom Line
Samsung Internet is now available on Windows. It brings synced web browser data and a few Galaxy AI features from the mobile browser to desktop users in the US and Korea.
