April 17, 2025 @ 8:52 amHello,
The “Analytics” tab shows a “Percentage of users who accepted all cookies”. Is this the percentage of all user in regions where the “Geo-Location” Feature triggered the Cookie-Wall or the percentage based on all users in total?
For example:If a page just has three users. One from China where the Geo-Location does not trigger the wall and all cookies are set automatically. The other two users are in the EU where the wall is displayed. One of the EU-Users accepts all cookies, the other not.
Is the “Percentage of users who accepted all cookies” now 50% (1 EU with Cookies vs. 1 EU without) or 66% (1 EU + 1 China with Cookies vs 1 EU without)?
I would be grateful for an answer.Kind regards
Moove AgencyApril 17, 2025 @ 2:01 pmHi Frederic
Thanks for using our plugins.
The GeoLocation is visible in Analytics as all accepted.
So for the users who don’t see the banner because of GeoLocation, they will be considered as all accepted cookies.
If EU is selected in Geo Location, and the user comes from the EU, the plugin will show the banner and the analytics data will be saved based on user actions.
So in the following example, where Geo-location shows the banner to only users from the EU, you will see these stats:
- Visitor from China (does not see banner, all cookies accepted automatically)
- Visitor from EU (sees banner and accepts all cookies)
- Visitor from EU (sees banner and rejects all cookies)
Analytics:
- 66% accepted all cookies
Hope this helps.
