To add custom fonts to your Tumblr theme you have multiple options. You can add custom fonts from web services like Adobe Fonts, Fonts.com, and Google Fonts or self-hosted.
However, custom font setups can be complicated and are intended for advanced users who are comfortable with CSS. You might need to adjust font weights and sizes by adding code in the Custom CSS box (under the Advanced Tab on your Customize page).
Adding Custom Font
To get started, on your Customize page, you’ll see the following Font input options:

- To use custom fonts, paste the embed code from your font service (ensuring it’s set up to allow your blog domain and fonts).
 - Then, enter the font name for Body, Logo, and Titles (including Quote and Link post types).

For further customization, use the Custom CSS input to target specific classes/elements.
Tips to note:
•Select the same font weights as the theme or adjust them with Custom CSS after installing your font.
•Fonts from TypeKit or similar services won’t appear in the Customize preview panel. Check them on your actual blog.
•The Font Family fields activate after adding an embed code, disabling the original theme fonts. Make sure to fill in all font fields.
