Launched in the months after the Battle of Hoth, the Unity Day attack was a coordinated strike by the Rebel Alliance on the planet Bar'leth during the Imperial Unity Day celebrations and parade. Designed to prove the Rebellion still lived and fought on, a fleet of the Alliance Navy, including Red Squadron, attacked the parade, destroying many walkers and vehicles. By virtue of how public the parade had been, the rebel victory was broadcast to the entire galaxy, showing the Rebellion survived and took care to not harm civilians.[2]
