- "No sign of the temple yet…"
- ―Luke Skywalker
A temple was located on[1] the Mid Rim world[2] Numidian Prime.[1] Around 3 ABY,[3] the Jedi-in-training[4] Luke Skywalker and the astromech droid R2-D2 traveled to Numidian Prime in search of the temple. After Skywalker was unsuccessful in an attempt to locate the temple,[1] he[5] returned to the camp he had set up with R2 and found the droid on the ground[1] powered down. Skywalker was then kidnapped by the rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, who needed his help in acquiring what she believed was a Jedi artifact on the Outer Rim gas giant Sason.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
The temple was mentioned in the thirty-first issue of the 2020 comic series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra. The issue was written by Alyssa Wong and published by Marvel Comics[1] on May 3, 2023.[6]
