"You shouldn't have to hide. You are warriors."
―Boba Fett to the warrior and the Tusken tribe[5]

The Tusken warrior[6] was a female[3] Tusken Raider warrior who was a member of a tribe of Tusken Raiders on the planet Tatooine[1] around 4 ABY.[7]

History[]

When the prisoner Boba Fett attempted to escape the tribe's camp, the Tusken warrior defeated him in a duel, allowing the rest of her tribe to recapture their captive. After Fett killed a sand beast, he was accepted to the tribe.[1] The warrior instructed Fett how to fight with a gaderffii stick.[5]

The Tusken warrior was extremely skilled with her gaderffii stick.

The tribe was later attacked by blaster bolts from a Tatooine repulsor train, killing several Tusken Raiders and banthas. After burning the fallen Tukens, Fett approached the warrior and the chieftain, vowing to stop the train with a cycler rifle and his training gaderffii stick, promising to be back by morning. Fett walked to Tosche Station, attacked members of the Kintan Striders Gang, and returned to the camp with their speeder bikes. Fett explained it was a gift to the tribe, and instructed the warrior and other tribe members how to ride it.[5]

Later, when the warrior was training Fett in gaderffii stick, the tribe was attacked again. The warrior, Fett and other Tuskens used their speeder bikes to raid the train. The warrior killed several Pykes, and the tribe defeated the Pyke Syndicate soldiers that operated the train. Fett demanded that the Pykes will stop killing Tuskens and pay a toll for traveling on their land. Later that night, the warrior was present when the chieftain explained the history of the tribe to Fett. Fett was gifted with a gekko that crawled inside his body, and returned in the morning with a branch of a wortwood tree, which he presented to the chieftain and the warrior. The warrior took the branch, and led Fett to a gaderffii stick workshop, where a craftsman helped Fett to forge his own stick. Fett presented his new stick to the warrior, which nodded in approval. Later that night, the warrior, Fett and the tribe performed a ceremonial dance around a campfire.[5]

After the newly-initiated Boba Fett left to see the Pyke Syndicate in Mos Eisley, the Pykes massacred the tribe, including the warrior. They painted the symbol of a speeder bike gang known as the Kintan Striders to put the blame on them.[8] Per Tusken tradition,[5] Fett gathered all the bodies and weapons and burned them at a funeral pyre.[9] Fett later attacked the Kintan Striders, killing several of their members, in revenge.[10]
