According to a preview page for this book on Amazon the Falcon is specifically a modfied YT-1300f

Now, should the F variant be mentioned in the Falcon page and a new page made for it, or added to the existing YT-1300 page?--Tuskin38 (talk) 02:32, July 6, 2015 (UTC)

• How about you wait for the actual book to come out before making changes, like a patient person. Previews are often wrong and rife with errors, and there's no point in doing something like this when it's more than likely a typo. Cade Calrayn 02:38, July 6, 2015 (UTC)
  • Tuskin asked a fair question, Cade, and YT-3000f was the Falcon's Legends designation as well. That being said, yes I agree about waiting rather than using an Amazon preview. weapons

The pages says that the MF only has quad cannons dorsal and ventral and torpedoes, but the battle of endorsements you can clearly see red lasers coming from the front of the Falcon - what gives? —Unsigned comment by 67.5.149.115 (talk • contribs)

Really? They certainly look a lot like lasers. Has anyone counted them? The cross section book says the Falcon has 8, and I'm pretty sure we see more fired than that.

Deactivation of the Hyperdrive

I've added a conflicted sources tag regarding the deactivation of the Falcon's hyperdrive (as referenced in Empire Strikes Back). Lost Stars indicates Ciena Ree and Nash Windrider did the deactivating, and implies they're in their Imperial officer uniforms as usual. Faith in an Old Friend indicates the hyperdrive was deactivated by three stormtroopers. It's possible that Ciena and Nash armored up — we do see Ciena getting into armor to act as a TIE pilot later in the novel, despite being in a command position — and got someone else to help them (Berisse?), but that's all speculation. Size of the Falcon sets according to Doug Chiang

In this article about designing the Millennium Falcon at Galaxy's Edge, Doug Chiang states various lengths of the Falcon sets:

• "To make the ship that made the Kessel Run a reality in this galaxy, Kalama and his team created what Lucasfilm VP and Executive Creative Director Doug Chiang has dubbed “the quintessential Millennium Falcon.” Over the years, the ship has been realized on a number of different sets. “There were many different iterations,” Chiang explains. “For the original trilogy, we had an 88-foot version. For our more recent films, they varied between 110- to 112-[feet]. We took all that information, all those elements and distilled it down into the one iconic Millennium Falcon both in scale and in detail.”"

That means 33.528 m to 34.1376 m for the recent films, 26.8224 m for the originals. Can this be added to the "Behind the Scenes" section? 73.41.239.24 20:32, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
