Opening crawl[]

Part IV
MUTINY AT MON CALA
It is a period of rebuilding in the galaxy. After
the victory on Jedha, thanks to Queen Trios'
secret betrayal of the Empire, Rebel leaders
Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo
search for a new base and new allies in their
struggle against the evil Galactic Empire.

Meanwhile, Trios continues to feign loyalty to
the Empire while on the Imperial-occupied
water-world, Mon Cala. With the Mon Cala
king Lee-Char imprisoned, his people are
hesitant to add their powerful fleet to the
rebel cause.

But Leia has a plan to free him and win their
support. With the Moff of Mon Cala captured
and replaced with a shapeshifting Clawdite,
Leia, Luke and Han plan to use their prisoner
to free another....

Plot summary[]

At the Moncaladrome on Mon Cala, Queen Trios and Dors Urtya grow impatient with the Moff Tan Hubi's uncharacteristic tardiness. When he finally arrives, C-3PO notes that the Hubi seems far too happy for the somber occasion, as he watches from the side of the theater while remarking on the tragic tale of the "Faluvian cycle" opera. Unbeknownst to everyone at the opera house, Hubi is being impersonated by the shapeshifter Tunga Arpagion.

Meanwhile, underneath the ocean of Strokill Prime, the rebels are in trouble, as a massive fish tries to eat their submersible. Han Solo questions why it would want to eat a metal ship, and Leia Organa explains it's likely targeting their bright lights. Luke Skywalker puts on a suit and gets out a device called the Sled. Solo turns the lights of the submersible off, and Skywalker distracts the massive fish with his lightsaber before Chewbacca rescues him with the Sled at the last possible moment.

Back at the opera house, during the intermission, Urtya and Queen Trios discuss "Hubi's" surprising behavior. The rebels work their way back into the Moncaladrome with the real Hubi in tow. Upon learning that they are trying to rescue King Lee-Char, the Hubi reveals that the machines they hooked him up to are the only things keeping him alive.
