Seera Longa was a Force-sensitive human who served as a Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order during the late Republic Era.
Biography[]
After having recently been knighted, Longa fought with their fellow Jedi during the Invasion of Syrinx Prime, assisting Jedi Master Adi Gallia in uncovering a prison camp of Vekurans on Syrinx Prime. Afterward, Longa helped sabotage the Syrinxian weapons forge to force the Vekurans and Syrinxians into peace talks.[2]
She later accompanied Master Yaddle during the peace talks between the Trade Federation and the Gillanter Corporation, where they rescued former jedi Dooku after he had been captured by Wookiee gangsters led by Lonkus.[3]
Powers and abilities[]
Seera was a skilled lightsaber duelist able to easily deflect blaster bolts at close range. Aside from her skills as a Jedi she was also a competent slicer.[3]
Equipment[]
Longa carried a blue-bladed lightsaber.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Seera Longa first appeared in the first issue of the 2025 comic series Star Wars: Jedi Knights. The issue was written by Marc Guggenheim, illustrated by Madibek Musabekov, and published by Marvel Comics[2] on March 5, 2025.[4] Longa was created by Guggenheim and Musabekov for the series.[5] The publisher's summary for Jedi Knights 5 incorrectly describes Longa as a Jedi Master,[6] instead of a knight.[2]
