The Science and Engineering Division,[1] also known as the Research division,[2] was a division within the Galactic Empire. Its personnel included engineers such as[1] Major and later Colonel[3] Dr. Galen Walton Erso,[1] Colonel Soden Petigar, General Hurst Romodi, and Chief Manager General Moradmin Bast.[4]
