A lava river on the volcanic world of Mustafar

Magma, or lava, was dangerous fluid, molten rock. Often emanating from volcanoes, lava was extremely hot at thousands of degrees, but when it stopped flowing, the substance cooled and hardened, eventually forming obsidian or dark lava sand.
