The Kazlin system was a star system in the Galactic Frontier. During the High Republic Era, it was located in[2] the Suolriep sector[3] which had only become aligned with the Galactic Republic months prior. A Hutt Clan starship carrying Vratixian barley was attacked by the Nihil in the system, and an encoded distress signal was picked up by the Republic/Jedi space station Starlight Beacon. A team of Jedi led by Master Sskeer was dispatched in a T-1 shuttle to investigate.[2]
