Plot summary[]
A new team of hunters[]
After the Fifth Brother is defeated by Tensu Run, Darth Vader tasks the Seventh and Ninth Sisters with capturing or killing the elusive Jedi. This is framed as an unusual "team-building exercise" for the two Inquisitors, who are known for their distinctive personalities.
Tactics of manipulation[]
The Seventh and Ninth Sisters devise a plan to lure Tensu Run out of hiding. Unlike the brute-force methods of the Fifth Brother, they exploit the Jedi's compassion by putting innocent civilians at risk.
The battle[]
Tensu Run confronts the two Inquisitors to protect the civilians. Joined by his ally, Pan Delesec, he engages the sisters in a lightsaber duel. During the fight, Tensu uses Jedi philosophy to counter the dark side logic of his opponents.
Tensu Run's victory[]
Demonstrating his superior skill, Tensu Run is able to defeat the two Inquisitors. He incapacitates the Seventh Sister and tells them to report back to Vader that the Jedi are not to be trifled with.
A dangerous turning point[]
Despite his success, Tensu's repeated victories against the Inquisitors fill him with a sense of courage that borders on hubris. Having previously decided to become a hunter himself after learning of his master's death, this latest triumph reinforces his belief that he can face the Empire head-on, setting the stage for a final confrontation with the Grand Inquisitor or Vader.
