The HUD in an ARC trooper helmet
A Heads Up Display (HUD) or heads-up display, was a view screen projection that functioned as a form of visual aid. The semi-transparent viewscreen was integrated into specialised helmets,[1] such as those worn by Imperial cadets who were training at the Arkanis Academy. They were capable of transmitting images. Zare Leonis wore one during a field exercise in Arkanis' wilderness.[2]
The helmets of stormtroopers of the First Order were equipped with heads-up displays.[3]
Mandalorian armor was also equipped with tactical heads-up displays in their helmets.[4]
