- "You're coming with us."
- ―HELIOS-3E, to R2-D2
HELIOS-3E was an IG-86 sentinel droid who operated with the bounty hunter Cad Bane.[5]
Biography[]
- "Download that data onto the memory drive. I will deliver it immediately. And prepare my ship."
"What should we do with these two?"
"Wipe their memory and dump them back in the street! They'll find their way back home. We can't have anything… looking out of place, can we?" - ―Cad Bane and HELIOS-3E, regarding R2-D2 and C-3PO
After being instructed to recover the plans for the Republic Executive Building, Cad Bane brought HELIOS-3E to Coruscant. When Todo 360 successfully separated Padmé Amidala's protocol droid, C-3PO, from his counterpart, R2-D2, 3E pulled up in a speeder so they could bring 3PO to Bane. After discovering that R2 was the droid that had the information for the Republic Executive Building, he was sent with Todo to track him down. After searching for the astromech, they decided to return, empty-handed, to Bane. When R2-D2 heard about them torturing C-3PO, he gave himself up to prevent his companion from becoming spare parts. Soon, the plans were extracted from the little droid, and 3E was charged with wiping their memories and "dumping them back on the streets."[5]
Later, 3E assisted Bane by guarding the hostages during the Senate hostage crisis, and later successfully left the crime scene with the other members of the team and Ziro Desilijic Tiure.[6]
