Forvan was a human male who lived as a member of the Colony of Kezarat in No-Space,[2] where the headquarters of the Nihil, a group of marauders, was once located.[3] Forvan was the son of the Blythe, the captain of the convoy.[2] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[4] long after the Nihil had become defunct, the kid encountered[2] an elite squad[5] of the Rebel Alliance, who had been transported to No-Space by a Nihil Path engine as they attempted to escape from the Galactic Empire. The kid asked the rebels if they had any flavors, and in exchange for information about where they were, General Leia Organa gave the kid a pack of ration sticks. The kid then informed the rebels that the place was once important, but it was the only place he lived. He then added that older individuals who lived in No-Space spoke of another place that had a lot of different stuff, but he had not been there. Before he could finish though, the kid heard a noise and became spooked. He thanked Organa for the food, and told her he had to leave, and informed the rebels they should hide. As the kid ran away, Organa tried to ask him what he was afraid of, and where he was going, but he did not respond.[1]
The kid then made his way to an edge, and Lando Calrissian questioned where the kid thought he was going to go. In response, Jedi Padawan Luke Skywalker stated that he had sensed that the boy was terrified, and that he didn't know where he was going, before adding that he intended to use the Force to stop him before he went over the edge. To the rebels surprise, the kid then jumped off the edge, but quickly activated a jetpack, and left. With the kid gone, the rebels saw what he had been afraid of, a group of droids. After the rebels had been rescued by a ship of the colony, they were requested to throw their weapons out of the ship's magnetic shield by Blythe. As the rebels complied with the request, the kid appeared and caught their weapons, which he put into a sack. One of the weapons, Skywalker's lightsaber, caught the attention of the kid, who ignited it and noticed it was yellow. Skywalker told the kid to be careful with the saber, as he could hurt himself, though the kid ignored him and flew away with the saber still ignited.[1]
