The First Order All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) was a model of All Terrain Armored Transport walker manufactured by Kuat-Entralla Drive Yards and fielded by the First Order. The design was reminiscent of the AT-AT used by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War.[1] Two First Order AT-ATs were deployed alongside the larger All Terrain MegaCaliber Six during the Battle of Crait. The walker featured increased armor and a boarding ramp under its chin in place of the heavy laser cannons; instead, its primary cannons were mounted on the sides of its head.[2]
History[]
In 34 ABY,[3] after the death of Supreme Leader Snoke and the ascension of Kylo Ren as leader of the First Order, a pair of these walkers led the charge in a Veers Formation against the Resistance base on the planet Crait, along with a 11 AT-M6s and Ren's Upsilon-class command shuttle, with numerous TIE/fo space superiority fighters and TIE/sf space superiority fighters providing air support.[2]
