Epikonia was a terrestrial tech-focused planet[3] located in the Ojoster sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It was a communications hub that relayed and boosted signals from its sector to other parts of the galaxy.[3] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[5] the cyborg Lobot was taken to Epikonia by the Scourge after he had been infected during a mission to[3] the planet[6] Tatooine. After his arrival on world, Lobot was tracked to Epikonia by his friend Lando Calrissian, who, along with General Leia Organa, the Wookiee Chewbacca, and the Jedi Luke Skywalker, undertook a mission to the world to rescue Lobot.[3]
