Opening crawl[]

THE RAZING OF EXEGOL
PART 2
Sly Moore's Schism Imperial, a covert group
of Imperials determined to overthrow the
Emperor, has continued to grow. Darth Vader
has now led the group on missions from the
Outer Rim to Tython, all building toward a
final assault on the Emperor's regime.

After a daring mission through the Red
Honeycomb Zone, facing off against the Sith
Eternal, the team has now encountered the
giant Summa-Verminoth monsters….

Plot summary[]

On Exegol, Senior Lieutenant Enric Pryde and Darth Vader leave the Sith Citadel with a massive red kyber crystal to load onto their kyberite-plated Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. Pryde, who constantly celebrates Vader's achievements, rebukes Governor Tauntaza for her jaded attitude. The other members of the Schism Imperial are still worried of retribution from the cultists, especially because they summoned a number of summa-verminoth with the ability to cause mental anguish in their prey.

As they quickly load the kyber crystal onto the shuttle, ZED-6-7 points out that the members of the Rebel M.A.R. Corps had broken free from their implants. Vader uncaringly leaves them to the effects of the summa-verminoth and boards the ship.

Inside, the group is protected by the kyberite plating. Administrator Sly Moore takes the moment to celebrate the victories of her Schism, culminating in the retrieval of the massive crystal, the likes of which powered the Death Star. She reasons that such power will make it so they never will have to run again.

Vader, however, stares at the crystal, seeing the face of his Master Darth Sidious. The Emperor congratulates Vader on finally seizing the power of technology for himself, for feeding into his Sith nature. Palpatine then presents a problem for Vader: Since their can only be two Sith, with Luke Skywalker in the mix, who shall the two be?

Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker gazes into the stars aboard a Rebel ship, sensing that his father is seeking him out. He confides to Leia Organa these feelings, fearing that Vader wants him to grow stronger in order to rule the galaxy at his side. He decides to get some space, which inspires Leia to play a message from Jedi pretender and thief Warba Calip from Sergia with R2-D2's holoprojector. Though certain it is some kind of scam or trap, Luke decides to answer Calip's call.

Back on Exegol, Vader uses his lightsaber to roughly slice off a couple of chunks from the larger kyber crystal to implant into his Zaly Shield and his electrostaff. Ignoring the warnings of ZED-6-7 that the imprecision of Vader's approach, especially in powering his electrostaff with a death machine power cell, was dangerous, Vader prepares to take on the summa-verminoth.

Although they were initially affected by the psychic attacks of the summa-verminoth, the cyborgs come to their senses since they had overcome so much anguish being trapped in their own bodies under Vader's control. Back in the skies, Vader stands atop the shuttle and uses his shield and staff to send massive amounts of energy at the creatures, subduing them. The energy of this action sends ripples through the Force to the Emperor and Luke. This causes Palpatine to give Vader his blessing to seek out Luke once and for all.

At the rendezvous point with Warba, Luke approaches the thief with some hesitancy, but reminds her that he sees so much more in her than she does herself. As they approach her H-type Nubian yacht, Sabé, former handmaiden of Luke's mother Padmé Amidala, steps onto the boarding ramp and reveals that she knows his father. Sabé stuns Calip and tries to stun Luke before getting R2-D2. She demands that if Luke has a dark side, it was time for him to show it.
