"I've outrun Imperial starships. Not the local bulk cruisers, mind you. I'm talking about the big Corellian ships, now."
Han Solo[23]

The Corellian Engineering Corporation, abbreviated CEC, was a Corellian starship manufacturer. Its products included several models of freighters, such as the YV-666 light freighter,[24] the YT-1300 light freighter,[25] the VCX-100 light freighter,[17] the VCX-150 freighter,[26] and the Baleen-class heavy freighter.[27]

Other CEC ships of note included the Gozanti-class cruiser[17] and its C-ROC variant,[28] the CR90 corvette,[29] the interstellar trash hauler,[30] the Consular-class space cruiser, and the G9 Rigger-class light freighter.[4]

Aside from ships, CEC also built masking transponders,[31] weapons systems like the AG-2G quad laser cannon,[32] escape pods such as the Model CEC Class-1,[15] and ion engines like the 3900hh[21] or the 5900hh.[33]

Ovan, the father of Han Solo worked for CEC, building the YT-1300s.[1]

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Augustus Graves served as CEO of the company.[1]

By the time of the Battle of Scarif, CEC had been imperialized by the Galactic Empire.[20] Later, the company would be taken over by the First Order.[22]
