A cargo suspensor array was a system used in starship that involved mounting a number of repulsor fields in a ships hold in order to help protect fragile cargo.
In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess paid a starship mechanics five hundred credits and supplied them with two Cargo signature scramblers to install a suspensor array in the hold of the Trailblazer, her EML-850 light freighter. This upgrade allowed her and her companion, ND-5, to take contracts smuggling volatile cargo such as bacta.[1]

Cargo suspensor arrays appeared as an upgrade in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3] In the expansion, players could purchase the "cargo suspensor array" upgrade to allow the player to smuggle volatile cargo.[1]
