Ando Prime was an ice-covered planet[2] located in the Ando system in the Lambda sector of the Mid Rim Territories.[1] It was the site of the Ando Prime Centrum podracing course.[2] The back of the PIP droid known simply as Pip, the companion to the Meknek and former Jedi Verosha Aniseya,[4] was detailed with a sticker of an Ando Prime podracing track during the High Republic Era.[5] By 132 BBY,[6] the sticker had grown worn.[5]
In 22 BBY,[7] shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, a race was broadcast live from on Ando Prime in the Outlander Club on the planet Coruscant.[2] Following the Battle of Endor, the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca visited Ando Prime and several other worlds in an attempt to gain intelligence on the Galactic Empire's attempts to shore up connections with criminal organizations it had previously supported. While on the worlds, Solo wore a disguise and asked around about Imperial activity, but failed to learn anything on Ando Prime.[8]
