I am a mechanical engineer that uses FEA to optimize the design of commercial chillers for Carrier. From time to time, I use scripts and macros to make my job easier.

In my spare time, I enjoy tinkering with my Android phone (Tasker, IFTTT, Material Design Tasker Plugin and basically anything created by João Dias are pretty awesome), woodworking, running, and reading informational books.

Challenging thought: No matter what you are studying, it is absolutely crucial that you understand both the theory behind what you are doing as well as how to effectively apply that theory in the real world. Theory alone is useless knowledge, knowing only the application is what robots do and prevents you from thinking outside the box.
