I have a vanilla install of Ubuntu Server and installed CDE (using your instructions). I've also installed WordPerfect 8.1 for Linux. I was trying to create an Icon for it, so I started the "Create Action" application. When I click the "Find Set..." button under the "Action Icons" section. I get a blank window titled "Create Action - Find Set". I also can't close this window. I've been forced to close the parent window "Create Action".
Any ideas?

Strange. ..
If you click on Edit Icon button, it will call the icon editor. On the Create Action - Find Set, if you double click on the last line /usr/dt/appconfig/icons/C, you should access a lot of icons (for me) What about you ? (ok, the two first are empty or give error message)
Instead of icons and create actions stuff, consider better create a /home/your_login/.dt/dtwmrc file to create a pull down menu of your applis
