NEW HIKING ROUTES IN GALICIA
This year, seven new trails have been added to Galicia’s Senderos Azules network, underscoring the region's dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism. Located in the provinces of A Coruña and Pontevedra, the new additions include a mix of circular coastal routes with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as scenic paths near some of the region’s most iconic rivers—offering hikers a chance to explore one of Spain’s lesser-known natural treasures.
The new routes are as follows:
1. Senda del Mar de San Hadrián en Malpica de Bergantiños (A Coruña)
2. Senda de As Marismas do Baxoi, en Miño (A Coruña)
3. Senda de los Petroglifos en Muros (A Coruña)
4. Sendero Río de San Pedro en Oleiros (A Coruña)
5. Sendero litoral de Baiona (Pontevedra)
6. Sendero fluvial del río Rubio en Meaño (Pontevedra)
7. Ruta Caminando por Oporto de Vigo.
