29 Years of Recognizing Excellence, Adversity, Courage and Hard Work
The REACH Youth Scholarship Program recognizes and celebrates local high school seniors who have overcome adversity to excel both academically and athletically.
Now in its 29th year, the REACH Youth Scholarship Program is co-chaired by former San Francisco 49er and Football Hall of Famer, Ronnie Lott, and Women’s World Cup soccer champion, Brandi Chastain. REACH is an acronym for “Recognizing Excellence, Adversity, Courage and Hard Work.”
In 2025, REACH awarded 71 individual scholarships ranging from $500 to $10,000 for a total of $100,000 distributed. Since 2017, REACH has awarded $500,000 in total scholarship funds to over 200 high school seniors from Santa Clara County.
*The REACH Youth Scholarship Program relies entirely on corporate and individual donations for funding.*
