Is JOIN for ME right for my organization?
JOIN for ME is an evidence-based intervention that has been offered in community settings (public housing and YMCAs) as well as in Federally Qualified Health Centers. JOIN for ME can be delivered by Community Health Workers who receive training on the program curriculum. It was designed to support ALL children with overweight or obesity and their families in creating a healthier lifestyle, but it has since been optimized for families from diverse backgrounds.

- Low-cost, culturally relevant food examples and menus
- Culturally tailored images
- Focus on improving health and health behaviors
Virtual Intervention Delivery
- Virtual delivery of group-based sessions by a coach or community health worker
- Weekly one-on-one check-ins
- Material bundles sent to families to support interactive lessons

- Tested in both community and healthcare settings
