Robert Francis "Bobby" Kennedy (November 20, 1925 – June 6, 1968), also called RFK, was an American politician. He is the brother of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963 while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas. Nearly five years later, he was killed.

Death

Kennedy ran for U.S. President but was shot multiple times on June 5, 1968 by Sirhan Sirhan in the Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles, Califronia. Kennedy had won the previous day's California presidential primary. He died on June 6 at the Good Samaritan Hospital during the operation to remove the bullet and bone fragments from his brain.
