Homeownership
Progress on Pine Street! First Habitat Rebuild in Altadena
Step onto Pine Street in Altadena and see how far we’ve come!
Thanks to the incredible support of our partners, donors, and volunteers, the Pine Street rebuild site is transforming—one wall, one home, and one act of kindness at a time.
What started as a vision to help families rebuild after the Eaton Fires is now taking shape before our eyes. Together, we’re not just building homes—we’re rebuilding hope, restoring community, and creating a stronger Altadena for generations to come.
Honoring a Legacy
In Memory of President Jimmy Carter
1924 – 2024
San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity joins the world in mourning the death of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and joins observances around the world to remember his life of service. He and Rosalynn Carter have served as Habitat for Humanity’s most famous volunteers over the 35 years they helped to build affordable housing with the organization.
Eaton Fire
Our hearts are with the community of Altadena
The wildfires impacting our service area have brought challenges to many, including our Habitat family. San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is heartbroken over the destruction. We are sad to report those affected include one of our recent Habitat homeowners and several Habitat partners who have lost their homes.
