Complete the SEL Implementation Assessment
Your school completes the SEL Implementation Assessment with a team of diverse stakeholders. This process has tremendous value for your school regardless of whether you ultimately receive a reward. To complete the assessment, follow the guidance in this document.
Select Your Award Category
Review the scores from the SEL Implementation Assessment to identify your school’s strongest focus areas (areas in which you scored 3’s or 4’s). These areas will direct you to the category that best fits your school. Use either the Category Legend or Walkthrough Rubrics to help decide the category that best aligns with your scores.
Schools may apply to one of four award categories:

Based on the SEL Implementation Assessment results, the school should be confident that a walkthrough evaluation will demonstrate excellence in SEL implementation. Before you begin, review the application questions. This will provide guidance on all the documentation you’ll need before you apply.

After reviewing the application questions and gathering all required materials, the school administrator will submit the application through the form below.
