Despite Wright’s singular impact on the world of architecture and design, more than 20% of his built works have been lost to demolition or neglect. Over half of those remaining have no legal protection. The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy is the only organization whose mission is to facilitate the preservation of them all. Your unrestricted tax-deductible donations ensure that the Conservancy is prepared to act quickly and decisively to face the next threat.

The Thorpe Fellowship was established in 2016 to honor John Garrett Thorpe, prominent restoration architect and longtime Conservancy board member. It provides funding for emerging professionals and graduate students in architecture or historic preservation to attend our annual conference.
