The most recent issue of theĀ APT Bulletin, the journal of the Association for Preservation Technology, has just come out. It was guest-edited by Janet Parks, a member of the Conservancy’s board and retired Curator of Drawings and Archives at Columbia University’s Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library. The focus of the issue (Vol. LIV, No. 3-4) is on the use of archives as an informational resource for preservation work. It features a contribution from John Waters, the Conservancy’s Preservation Programs Director, on researching Frank Lloyd Wright in the archives, specifically highlighting his investigations of the Frederick and Grace Bagley House.

TheĀ APT Bulletin is available in print only to members of that organization – which many preservation professionals are. Be sure to check it out if you’ve already received it. The issue is also available on JSTOR.
