The Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) 2025 is a nationwide assessment designed to provide credible, multi-sectoral data on the needs of displaced, non-displaced and returnee populations across Sudan. In August 2025, DTM teams conducted 24,403 household interviews in 187 localities across 18 states, complemented by 25 key informant interviews in one locality in Kassala state, where direct access was not possible. MSNA 2025 collected more than 200 indicators across 17 clusters and cross-cutting issues. Data quality was ensured through geo-verification, consistency checks, and real-time feedback to field teams. The final dataset is representative at locality (Admin 2) level, with any lower-level disaggregation considered indicative.
