This prestigious recognition is rooted in feedback from over 10,000 American shoppers who have used the nominated products, sharing the ones they love and would purchase again.
Spanning 86 categories including food and beverage, health and beauty, personal care, household essentials and children's and pet products, these awards celebrate standout innovations that meet consumer needs. The winners were determined by a formula that evaluates product appeal, superiority, and repurchase intent based on survey responses.
No category was too niche for consideration. This year's honorees include Dove's Hydration Boost Serum Body Wash, the Shark Ninja Clean & Empty Cordless Vacuum and STōK's Cold Brew Cappuccino, proving that excellence comes in all forms.

METHODOLOGY
1. Overview
The Best New Product Awards (BNPA) is the most credible and influential award consumer-voted award for consumer products. The program follows a rigorous process of product selection, category definition, and research. Winner determination is based 100% on the responses of American shoppers. The BNPAs find real in-market purchasers of the competing products through an online survey of 10,328 American shoppers, to identify the ones Americans would spend their hard-earned money on again.
2. Product Nomination
Products were eligible for participation in the 2025 BNPAs if they were launched after July 2023 and represented a product innovation. Competitive categories were constructed to ensure that each BNPA winner is truly a superior choice for shoppers. Products from retail or private-label brands are eligible and encouraged to compete.
Products are nominated through marketers/pr representatives who enter their leading innovations into the program and/or BNPA researchers will review store shelves, advertising, and industry publications to identify new products of interest to consumers.
3. Winner Determination
Determination of the winner in each category is based on a set formula for the "Best New Product Award Score," calculated from appeal ratings among category shoppers combined with future purchase intent and product superiority ratings from real in-market buyers of each product. The highest BNPA Score determines the winner with only one winner per category.
