A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

Data from 2013 onwards will no longer be refreshed due to changes in methodology. BREAKS IN DATA SERIES AND OUTSTANDING VALUES Data for the following categories are included into aggregates:
- motorcycles since 1992,
- agricultural tractors since 1994,
- mopeds since March 2002. Major breaks in data series and outstanding values
- Introduction of the value added tax in 1999.
- Obligatory registration of mopeds since April 2002.
- Registration of old unregistered tractors in 2005.
- Break in the series for goods trailing vehicles due to the change in the categorization of values in 2006.
- Break in the series for agricultural tractors, agricultural trailers and caravans at the end of 2007 due to the exclusion of inactive vehicles.
- Break in the series for motorcycles at the end of 2007 due to non-removal of vehicles during the winter. For detailed information about breaks in the data series see Methodological explanations.
