Source: Up to 2015 the data source is the Fisheries Research Institute of Slovenia. These data included only the marine sport fishing based on the annual licence. From 2016 onward the data source is the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and Food. These data include: marine sport fishing based on the annual licence, marine sport fishing with underwater fishing gun, recreational fishing with daily or weekly licence and data from organized sport competitions. Due to the changes into ASFIS classification the Atlantic chub mackerel code was in 2017 moved from MAS to VMA.
